Hope Matters Marriage Ministries, Inc. exists because my husband and I have a passionate desire to see marriages changed, made whole, and reconciled to replicate God?s plan for marriage, not society?s.
Through this ministry, our desire is to glorify God and share with others that although the world holds virtually no hope for marriages and families being restored, we know that ??By His mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope? (Ephesians 3:20 NLT) and that it is possible for a marriage to be made brand new no matter what stage it is in!
We share our testimony of hope through speaking engagements, small group settings, and one on one meetings with couples and individuals. Our goal is to give God the glory for the miracle in our marriage and family, first and foremost, and encourage couples to hang in there and not give up. We are in the process of developing marriage retreat and conferences. We share our testimony because we believe the only ultimate hope for marriage is Jesus Christ.
My husband Jeff and I meet with couples or individuals to encourage them to seek Jesus as the solid rock foundation of their lives first and then in their marriage, thus giving them the absolute best chance for an abundant marriage. We also offer Biblical marriage counseling through The Center for Christian Counseling headquartered in Flower Mound, Texas.
Hope Matters Marriage Ministries’ main objective is to lead couples and individuals to the Word of God in order to teach them what God?s plan for marriage is thus giving them the best chance to live that out in the daily walk of marriage.
Our first book (as yet untitled) is being published by WaterBrook Multnomah Press/Random House. Watch for it on the shelf Fall 2008!
