Well, it’s been a while since I’ve written. So much going on here in Texas!

Ok, so a new book for you to read: YOU CAN CHANGE by Tim Chester. It is absolutely a great read; convicting, inspiring, transforming. Below is an excerpt for you to ponder for any circumstance in your life. If you are trying or hoping for reconciliation in your marriage, this is great Wisdom.
“And it’s the Spirit’s life in us that enables us to grow in our faith and obedience. Gal 5:16-17 says: ” I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.” Chester continues: “Our job is to follow the Spirit. Whenever we want to do the right thing, that is the Spirit at work. We should be led by the Spirit even though the sinful nature doesn’t like it. When you feel this conflict, go with the Spirit. Walk in step with the Spirit. Follow those Spirit-prompted desires. The Spirit gives us the desire to love and opposes our selfish desires.” Phil 2:13 says: “God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.”
